From the Department of About Damn Time

The House Oversight and Reform Committee just voted to subpoena Condoleezza Rice to testify about the rationale for the invasion of Iraq in March, 2003.

Judiciary just voted in full, 32-6, to subpoena that woman who took the Fifth so many times at Justice. They're giving her immunity, which is fine with me: they get her, they roll up Danglin' Al and then it's either Rove or Cheney, or perhaps both. (Even Gonzalez has to know that BushCo intends to let him take the heat.)

I'm just curious as to who the idiots were who voted no. My Republican congresscritter sits on that committee, he's a former federal prosecutor, and he definitely thought Clinton should have been impeached over a blow job. So let's see if he's consistent.

(Hint: He has said since last year that we need to get out of Iraq; yesterday he voted against the appropriations bill that would have made that happen.)
